I wonder how these people are feeling about themselves after the Stanley Cup riots? What is this all about anyway? Is this hockey? Is this Vancouver? Is this what it means to be a fan?

It’s great to enjoy a sport, but what’s up with the die-hard, nervous energy, aggression-driven passion? Where did this state of mind come from and more importantly, where is it going? The game was an excuse for bad people to behave badly. Were any spurred to action from actual disappointment at the outcome of the game or are they just crazy?
